April 2021 saw the launch of Ziik as the internal communication platform for around 4500 employees in McDonald’s restaurants across Finland. Exchanging top-down communication for two-way messaging and getting work content out of their private social media accounts, Ziik has proven immediately successful - and useful - to both managers and crew.
